It is 12 degrees Fahrenheit outside. 12. With a windchill of -2. -2! Yes, it IS winter, but three days from now it is expected to be almost 60 degrees. Crack.

Good news for once. My boss came to me and said he was going to give me a raise! We haven't discussed how much, but anything would help me immensely. Even better is that I get to work full time for a few weeks to take advantage of it.

Got the LotR:RotK extended edition. Grr and I are now trying to figure out when we can schedule a viewing of all three movies at once. You know that's the one true way to see that movie. I might die of epic in the process, but it would only be keeping with the spirit.

Don't read a book about concepts of mathematical infinity when your system is full of diphenhydramine and pseudoephedrine. It has the effect of making you stare slack-jawed at your computer screen, semi-drooling, and breathing through one nostril while the stimulated part of your brain processes the idea that the infinite set of numbers between 0 and 1 is greater than the infinite set of integers and the inhibited part of your brain makes said sets spin and wriggle in pretty patterns.I am sick again. This time with a cold and not something that is pretending to be cholera. An improvenment over the previous sickness, yes, but I was rather enjoying feeling good and strong for once. I just can't win. I spent the entire month of November last year sick with perpetual colds. I would not like a repeat.

Can I please have a week where I am alert and well? At the same time? Please?
