It occurred to me, as I was sitting contemplatively by the window before my Saturday 2:30 dance class eating a pint of Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Fudge Brownie ice cream on my 24th birthday, that I was also sitting contemplatively by the window before my Saturday 2:30 dance class eating a pint of Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Fudge Brownie ice cream on my 12th birthday. I think this says something about me.

[I remember it being my 12th birthday, and it really had to be since that's when I had that 2:30 dance class, but doing calendrical math says that my birthday was on a Friday that year and Saturday the next year. It is entirely possible that I just didn't notice at the time. I never had a sense of time, even back then. It's a very vivid memory because it was the first time I ate 2 pints. (I wasn't very happy that day).]

As far as birthdays go, this one was very very nice! My mother, of all people, got me Reeses (how ironic) and she let me buy books off my wishlist. Steve got me fuzzy aminals (a horse, a red panda, a raccoon, and a cowmoose) more Reeses and ice cream cake. Mmm ice cream. Steve's friend got me Reeses and a bag full of chocolate to share (party like) and more ice cream cake. Others got me chocolate and a fuzzy buffalo and a raccoon. My dance teacher surprised me with donuts. Does anyone else see a pattern?

What is a cowmoose? It's a cow with a moose-nose. But is it a cow with a moose-nose or is it a moose dressed like a cow, but the cow suit wasn't big enough to contain the giant moosie-nose? We're not sure yet, so for now she's a cowmoose.

No, I'm not kidding; yes, it does work out.

Edit: Actually... *sweatdrop* it doesn't work out. It should be ln3x^2 because 2ln3x would turn into ln(3x)^2 which isn't ln3x^2. But then I never was any good at basic algebra, counting, adding, or any kind of useful math, so this is what I get for trying to make up an integral that equals my age all by my arithmetically impaired self. Argh, anyway, pretend it's the definite integral from 2 to 3 of e^(ln3x^2) dx. Or you can just pretend I didn't make this blunder to begin with, or better yet, just smile and nod. Yes. Go on now... *runs*
