So I haven't had much sleep again because I didn't listen to Ayuni and Emeraldus. I meant to listen to you both and sleep, really I did! But, well, see, um... yeah.
So as a result I actually caused my brain to short-circuit. When my alarm went off early in the morning about 2 hours after I went to bed, I shot up into a sitting position and for more than several moments I was completely and utterly confounded by my own existence. The only thought I could muster was, "I think I'm sentient... I am able to... think?... *long pause* ...Now what?!" I think I must have sensed somehow that Steve was still awake, and therefore could answer questions, so I reached to the doorway, (eyes opened or closed, I couldn't tell) and I called out, "...I'm confused!... *long pause* ...I don't know what to do!"> I heard his voice respond with thorough information about the current time and how the reason I was 'awake' at that moment was because I had to go to work. This gave me 'purpose' and calmed my anxiety. I hit the snooze button to fall back to sleep just long enough to gather my senses.
This is a sign, methinks.
To top everything off I just did something else really stupid which I'm sure is directly related to having a rundown brain. I was eating some Reeses, and little crumbs of the chocolate edges come off when you pull off the wrappings. I rubbed my eye, as I am wont to do a lot, so:
Me (11:58:16 PM): I think I got Reeses in my eye Me (11:58:40 PM): man it stings
Emeraldus (11:58:40 PM): lol that takes a talented person to do that, yes, it does
Me (11:58:57 PM): LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL that's so what's Steve's going to say when I tell him
Emeraldus (11:59:06 PM): LOL
Me (11:59:56 PM): I just told him what you said, and he said, "...well now I'm not [going to say that]"
Emeraldus (12:00:20 AM): lol no, he must be original
*crawls into a corner to die, or sleep, whichever comes first*
Another problem with not getting enough sleep is that you end up dawdling outside until midnight chatting about existential mumbo jumbo and philosophy and the definition of happiness with a similarly-minded coworker and somehow decide that you have profound insight into the secrets of the universe. What are these profound insights? I give you a look into the very nature of happiness. Happiness is...
...the zero vector!
*pauses while divine light shines down*
That's right, happiness is the zero vector, a self-directed null force that is orthogonal to everything.
And hope is like the infinite improbability drive from the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
Got to see the catalog pictures of my dance costumes today. One I really like, 3 are ok, one is... well... pink and orange fringe. I've attempted to draw them from memory, but keep in mind that I can't draw, and I have no memory.
My favorite is the first one. The sparkly black/gray fringe swing flapper outfit. In order from left to right, top to bottom, they are for tap, jazz, acrobatics, jazz, and tap.
I've just about had it. I'm sick AGAIN. I have done nothing but catch colds for the past 6 months now. I'm sure much of this has to do with getting very little sleep and not eating as much as I'd like. Yay for living off less than $100 a week.
I watched AiBaby 2 and FMA 27, read Furuba 90 and some other random things, but I just don't have the energy to gush. I owe some of you summaries, but anything I were to write now would involve "and then some stuff happened" so it defeats the purpose.
I ran errands today! I was productive! I got my glasses adjusted so they no longer fall off my face every time I move my head, I got my hair trimmed (6 inches and even I can barely tell), I bought oodles of Reeses Eggs because mmmm, peanut buttery goodness, and I even got some clothes that I needed and had been putting off buying). Of course, now that means I'm broke again, but at least things got done for once.
Aishiteru ze, Baby episode 1 is out on BitTorrent by a.f.k. Overall I was pretty happy with the episode. Yuzuyu is thankfully not aged and remains her 5 year old self. I don't like her voice, but everyone else I think I can adjust to. The art sometimes looked very Maki Youko-ish, whereas sometimes it was just strange. But I think her art is rather strange anyway, so it doesn't bother me. Was Satsuki always that weird? I recall him being quiet and direct, but I don't remember him being so blatently... well, weird.
